NINETEEN NINETEEN

First prize, Museum Publication Design Competition, American Alliance of Museums

“Nineteen Nineteen,” was a major exhibition of the Centennial Celebration at The Huntington Library, Art Collections, and Botanical Gardens, and demonstrated a pivotal year in world history with about 275 objects drawn from The Huntington’s holdings.

To complement the exhibition, The Huntington published Nineteen Nineteen, a 260-page, richly illustrated book by James Glisson and Jennifer A. Watts. 

The book was recognized by AIGA, the professional association for design, for having one of the most impressive book designs of 2019.
